About Feather Canoes
When
Mac McCarthy opened a new chapter in his life by building his first cedar
strip canoe. He had no idea that such a minor decision would
totally change his whole existence, but it certainly has. Building
these light weight, but beautiful small canoes, soon changed
from a casual whim, to a full fledged addiction. The more Mac
learned, the deeper he delved, the more addicted he became. It
was more than just the building of the canoes, or the paddling,
and the places he got to see. The most important thing
was the friendships formed over the years with the people
who have shared these experiences...
