About Mac

When I opened a new chapter in my life by building my first cedar strip canoe. I had no idea that such a minor decision would totally change my whole existence, but it certainly has. Building these light weight, but beautiful small canoes, soon changed from a casual whim, to a full fledged addiction. The more I learned, the deeper I delved, the more addicted I became. It was more than just the building of the canoes, or the paddling, and the places I got to see. I think the most important thing has been the friendships formed over the years with the people who have shared these experiences. – Mac
